BEFORE THE BIG DAY
So much is coming your way, isn’t it? All the preparations can often feel quite overwhelming. And now you also need to find the right wedding photographer who can capture your day just as you truly are. The big day itself will fly by, but luckily, you’ll have the photos that preserve those memories forever.
What’s likely very important for both sides is that there’s a connection. To capture you as best as possible, it’s great to know what brings you joy and who I’ll have in front of the lens. To see if we’re a good match, a meeting (either via an online Hangout or here in Hoorn) would be really helpful.
DURING THE BIG DAY
If possible, I’d love to arrive a bit earlier. That way, I can unpack my bag at a leisurely pace, take in the surroundings, chat with people here and there, and start capturing some initial photos so everyone can get a little comfortable with the camera and me as the photographer. Throughout the day, I’ll focus on capturing moments that tell a story—both small and big. I aim to be as unobtrusive as possible, capturing the most beautiful candid and spontaneous moments. I’ll take the lead only during group photos and your personal shoot.​

THE PHOTOSHOOT
During your couple's shoot, I’ll give you some gentle prompts, like asking you to stand in a certain spot or look at each other. But keep talking, kiss, and hold each other close. Most importantly, enjoy the moment together on your wedding day! Meanwhile, I’ll be capturing everything and looking for spots with interesting compositions or beautiful light to create stunning images for you.
THAT A BEAUTIFUL DAY! WHAT FOLLOWS?
Within a week after the wedding, you’ll receive a preview of some photos. After that, I’ll get to work on the full report. Within 8 weeks post-wedding, you’ll receive a selection of at least 250 high-resolution photos in a private online gallery. During the editing process, I review each image individually to bring out the very best in each photo. If desired, I can then start working on the album, which has a turnaround time of about 6 weeks. You’ll receive a beautiful album filled with various memories, ensuring that the day—the harmonious culmination of everything you planned and envisioned—will be with you forever.
